Big Brothers Big Sisters of Johnson County is looking for bowlers for its upcoming fundraising event.
Big Brothers Big Sisters Bowl for Kids’ Sake is scheduled for July 23 and July 25 at the UCM Bowling Center. Also, a Party Palooza is scheduled for 6-8 p.m. July 9 at Player’s Restaurant and Lounge.
The program organizers have set a goal of raising $100 from each bowler. Those who reach their goal will have their names put into a drawing to win more than 20 prizes, ranging from a new Kindle Fire HD to gift cards from area businesses, according to a news release.
Also, there will be door prizes during the Bowl for Kids’ Sake event and the chance to win a stay at the Great Wolf Lodge for bowlers who meet their goal of $100 for mentoring.
