The Summer Food Service Program helps kids get the nutrition they need when school is out. This summer, a nutritious lunch and snack will be served to kids every day for free at the Warrensburg Community Center, 445 E. Gay St., starting May 29. Lunch and a snack is open to all children 17 and under in the Warrensburg area. Warrensburg Parks and Recreation and Bi-Lo Country Market are sponsoring the program, which is open from 11 a.m.-12:30 p.m. for lunch Monday through Friday from May 29 to Aug. 9. Snack time is from 3:30-4:30 p.m. The program is closed on July 4.
