Mules Football season-opener to be broadcast

(KANSAS CITY, Mo.) – The Central Missouri Mules 2013 season-opening football game against Missouri Western will be broadcast by the MIAA Television Network as announced by the conference office Monday.
The MIAA released its 11-game television schedule for 2013, which includes the Sept. 5 opener at Walton Stadium/Kennedy Field.
The Mules are coming off a 6-4 campaign in 2012 and will begin the fourth season under head coach Jim Svoboda in 2013. The Griffons finished 12-2 overall last year and won the MIAA regular season championship with a 9-1 conference mark. MWSU advanced to the NCAA-II Quarterfinals.
The first 10 games of the schedule are set with the final televised game November 16 set as a flex game where the MIAA will attempt to feature the best late-season matchup.
