Mo. infant only survivor of double fatal accident

(CARTHAGE, Mo., AP) – An infant is the only survivor of a traffic accident in southwest Missouri that killed the drivers of the two vehicles involved.
The Missouri State Highway Patrol says Hayven Cartwright, who is under the age of one, survived the head-on crash Wednesday night on a rural road near Carthage.
The patrol says the child is being cared for by a relative.
The patrol says a vehicle driven by 22-year-old Brandon S. Stuckey of Belleville, Ill. crossed the centerline and hit a vehicle, carrying Hayven, that was driven by 48-year-old Julie G. Cartwright of Joplin. Both drivers died at the scene.
The relationship between Cartwright and Hayven was not immediately clear.
