Jennies bowling finishes sixth at Prairie View A&M Invitational

(ARLINGTON, Texas) – Jennies bowling finished in sixth place this weekend, with a 9-4 record, at the Prairie View A&M Invitational in Arlington, Texas.
The Jennies were led by Kara Richard, who placed 11th overall in the individual standings. Richard, a junior from Tecumseh, Mich., bowled a final round 212 to finish with a total of 975 pins with an average of 195 to place 11th.
Mary Wells and Natalie Jimenez also placed in the top 20 for the Jennies, with Wells bowling a final round 213 to finish 13th with 967 total pins. Jimenez knocked down 180 pins in her final round to give her 959 total pins, good for 16th place.
The Jennies return to the lanes in Texas next weekend, Feb. 8-9, to take part in the Southern University Challenge in Dallas, beginning at 10 a.m. Friday.
