Western Missouri Medical Center plans to open Advanced Wound Center

(WARRENSBURG, Mo.) – Western Missouri Medical Center’s new Advanced Wound Center will begin accepting appointments on Monday, according to a news release.
The hospital has partnered with Accelecare Wound Centers to offer extensive wound care services to patients.
The center will treat chronic, non-healing wounds – a wound that has not healed after eight weeks or has not improved after four weeks. The clinic will offer care for individuals whose natural healing process is hampered by poor blood circulation, diabetes or other causes.
The center is located within the hospital’s Rehabilitation Services entrance, adjacent to the Physical Therapy Department.
The Advanced Wound Center will be open from 8 a.m.-4:30 p.m. Monday through Friday.
