Sacred Heart finishes perfect season, 61-45

(COLUMBIA, Mo., AP) — Jaime Villalobos scored 16 points and grabbed 14 rebounds to help Sacred Heart beat Iberia 61-45 and win its first Class 2 boys championship Saturday.

Sacred Heart finished the season 31-0 and outscored Iberia 28-7 in the fourth quarter. The Gremlins iced the game at the free throw line, converting 15 of 18 attempts in the final 2:49. The team made 23 of 30 overall from the line.
Chase Lyles led all scorers with 19 points, including 11 free throws on 14 attempts.
Dexter Frisbie grabbed 12 rebounds and scored 10 points for Iberia (29-2), while Darrien Dickey added 12 points.
Both teams grabbed 31 rebounds and Iberia outshot Sacred Heart 38.3 percent to 34 percent. But the Rangers committed 18 turnovers, while only forcing nine and finished 6 of 9 from the free throw line.
