(ST. LOUIS, AP) — Ryan Williams ran for 122 yards and three touchdowns to lead Lee’s Summit West to a 51-14 win over Parkway Central in the Class 5 Missouri State High School Football Championships on Saturday.
The Titans rushed 41 times for 328 yards. The title was the third for Titans (13-1) and their second in four years.
After the Titans got out to a 14-0 lead, Williams took the suspense out of the game in the second quarter when he scored from 11 yards out and 35 yards out to give Lee’s Summit West a 27-0 advantage. He had 11 carries on the day.
Parkway Central (13-2) broke the shutout on a 57-yard pass from Zack Lazenby to Notre Dame recruit Jonathan Bonner with 50 seconds left in the first half.
