Georgetta Lawrence, 79, of Holden, Mo., died Tuesday, June 11 at Pleasant Hill Health and Rehabilitation Center in Pleasant Hill, Mo.
A funeral will be held at 2 p.m. Friday, June 14 at Ben Cast & Son – Wood Funeral Home in Holden.
The family will receive friends from 1-2 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.
Burial will be in Sunset Hill Cemetery in Warrensburg, Mo.
She was born Jan. 25, 1934, in Urbana, Mo., a daughter of Joseph E. and Ada May (Ozbun) Pippin.  Georgetta was a self-employed bookkeeper and tax preparer. She owned and operated Georgetta’s Tax Service in Holden for many years. She previously worked at Lake City Army Ammunition Plant, and owned the hotel and the Stumble Inn in Holden. She married Warren Lexie Lawrence on June 29, 1969, in Las Vegas, Nev. He preceded her in death on June 10, 1980.
She is survived by four sons, Michael E. Lear, of Independence, Mo.; Richard S. Harbison, of Kansas City, Mo.; Randall F. Harbison, of Holden; and Robert E. Harbison Jr., of Slidell, La.; one daughter, Deborah J. Newman, of Garden City, Mo.; one sister, Eva L. Flowers, of Buena Vista, Colo.; 13 grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by six brothers and sisters.
Memorial contributions are suggested to the American Heart Association.
