Beau Gerard Appleton

Beau Gerard Appleton, 57, of Warrensburg, Mo., died Thursday, April 18 at home.
Following cremation there will be a memorial service at 2 p.m. Thursday, April 25 at Ben Cast & Son – Wood Funeral Home in Holden, Mo.
He was born Nov. 7, 1955, in Kansas City, Kan., the son of Gordon Howard and Vanda Jonne (Brown) Appleton. He attended two years at the University of Missouri in Kansas City and was a union painter for Painters Local 9 in Kansas City. He had lived in Kansas City; Frankston, Texas; and Holden, and moved to Warrensburg two years ago.
He married Penny Louise Hutchison on July 1, 2006, in Independence, Mo. She survives him at home. Also surviving are two daughters, Brittany and Delia Appleton; two step-sons, Cory Wayne and William Huskey, both of Holden; his step-father, Virgil Jones, of Golden, Mo.; and a sister, Anna Lyle, Kansas City, Mo.
Memorial contributions are suggested to the Beau Appleton Memorial Fund.
