Mules wrestling falls to No. 3 Central Oklahoma

(WARRENSBURG, Mo.) – Mules wrestling (6-7, 2-3 MIAA) dropped their final home dual of the season against the third-ranked Central Oklahoma Bronchos (9-1, 4-0 MIAA), 34-6, Thursday night at the UCM Multipurpose Building.
Ty Loethen was the lone Mule to pick up a victory in the dual after he pinned the Broncho’s Zach Aylor at 2:32 of the 165 pound bout.
The Mules finish their first regular season of MIAA wrestling since the 1985-86 season, with a record of 2-3, claiming wins over Truman and Lindenwood.
The Mules will now await word on their opponent and seed in the MIAA Wrestling Tournament to be held Sunday, Feb. 10 at Hamilton Fieldhouse on the University of Central Oklahoma campus in Edmond. Wrestling is set to begin at 10 a.m.
