Margaret F. Gregory

Margaret F. Gregory, 100, of Knob Noster, died Tuesday, Jan. 29 at the Warrensburg Manor Care Center.

Memorial services will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 2 at Sweeney-Phillips & Holdren Funeral Home in Warrensburg with Brother Charles Brant officiating.
Interment will be held at a later date at Knob Noster Cemetery.
The family will receive friends from 1 p.m. until service time Saturday at the funeral home.
She was born Nov. 28, 1912, in Knob Noster, the daughter of Fred and Fannie (Byrd) Nietzert.
She was united in marriage to Earl Gregory on Jan. 1, 1938, in Chilhowee, Mo. He preceded her in death on Oct. 9, 1996.
Mrs. Gregory was a 1931 graduate of Knob Noster High School.  She received her bachelor’s degree and later her master’s degree from Central Missouri State University in 1959. Mrs. Gregory taught eighth grade at Knob Noster for 33 years and retired in 1977. She was a member of the Knob Noster Presbyterian Church and loved to play cards and work in her garden.
Mrs. Gregory is survived by her son, David Gregory of Knob Noster; her daughter, Barbara Gregory of Raytown, Mo.; her sister, Geraldine Lane of Riverside, Mo.; four grandchildren, Lauren Gregory, of Lee’s Summit, Mo.; Deanna Hampton, of Peculiar, Mo.; Matthew Wuster, of Bottineau, N.D.; and James Wuster, of Blue Springs, Mo.; and five great-grandchildren.
She was also preceded in death by her parents and one brother, Kelly Nietzert.
Memorial contributions are suggested to the American Cancer Society and can be left in care of the funeral home.
