Dennis Wayne Shroyer

Dennis Wayne Shroyer, 23, of Kingsville, Mo., died Sunday, Jan. 27 at Research Medical Center in Kansas City, Mo., after a motorcycle accident.
The funeral will be at 2 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 31 at Cross Creek Baptist Mission in Oak Grove, Mo., under the direction of Ben Cast & Son – Wood Funeral Home, of Holden, Mo. Friends may call from 6-8 p.m. Wednesday at the church. Interment will be at the Grain Valley Cemetery in Grain Valley, Mo.
Pastor Ray Gurney will be the officiant. Pallbearers will be James Spencer, Daniel Barnard, Colton Schwermer, Dusty Zumwalt, Alby Fike and Tyler Brant. Joey Shroyer will be the honorary pallbearer.
He was born Nov. 12, 1989, in Independence, Mo., the son of Paul Wayne and Linda (Parker) Shroyer. He had lived in the Holden/Kingsville community all of his life and was a 2008 graduate of Holden High School. He married Samantha Blankenship on June 5, 2010, in Kingsville. Mr. Shroyer was employed by the City of Warrensburg Street Department.
He leaves his wife, Samantha Shroyer, of the home; a son, Quintin Shroyer, of the home; great-grandmother, Emma L. Parker, of Grain Valley, Mo.; grandparents, Paul and Linda Shroyer, of Kingsville; sister, Emmalee Ann Shroyer, of Kingsville; and brothers, Joey Shroyer and James Spencer, of Kingsville.
