Delores Elaine Gish Hoisington, 78, of Warrensburg, has died; funeral is Aug. 15

(WARRENSBURG, Mo.)–Delores Elaine Gish Hoisington, 78, of Warrensburg, died Sunday, Aug. 12, at her home.
Delores was born November 14, 1933, in Enterprise, Kan., the daughter of Ralph and Pearl (Schmidt) Gish. On July 12, 1957, she married James Hoisington in Salina, Kan.
She was a 1951 graduate of Enterprise High School.  She worked in civil service and was an accountant at Whiteman Air Force Base for 20 years.  She was also a member of the First United Methodist Church of Warrensburg and loved to play bridge.
She is survived by her husband James of the home; one daughter, Lisa Kasmer and husband Richard of Medina, Ohio; two sons: Drew Hoisington and wife Candice of Gainesville, Fla.; and Dana Hoisington of Oronogo, Mo.; two brothers: Keith Gish of Vallejo, Calif.; and Daniel Gish of Topeka, Kan.; three granddaughters:  Courtney Hoisington of Tallahassee, Fla.; Brittany Hoisington of Gainesville, Fla.; and Lindsay Kasmer of Medina, Ohio; and one grandson, Jeremy Kasmer of Pittsburgh, Penn.
Funeral services will be Wednesday, Aug. 15, at 11 a.m. at Sweeney-Phillips & Holdren Funeral Home in Warrensburg, with Rev. Louie Lowe officiating.  Pallbearers will be Drew Hoisington, Dana Hoisington, Jeremy Kasmer, and Richard Kasmer.
Interment will be Thursday, August 16, at noon at the Bethlehem Lutheran Cemetery in Enterprise, Kan., with Rev. Sue Belknap officiating.
The family will receive friends from 10 a.m. until service time Wednesday at the funeral home.
Memorial contributions are suggested to the Nature Conservancy and may be left in care of the funeral home.
