Marietta Joan Baker, 83, of Warrensburg, Missouri, died Wednesday, May 17, at Warrensburg Manor Care Center.

Funeral Service will be 2 p.m. Saturday, May 20, at Williams Funeral Chapel in Warrensburg with Pastor Bob Denham of Life Nazarene Church in Warrensburg officiating.
Interment will follow at Warrensburg Memorial Gardens Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Saber Storms, Chris Leslie, Larry Rankin, Kelvin Storms, Eugene Stillman and Arnold Sjuts.
The family will receive friends from 1:30 to 2 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home.
Marietta was born Aug. 4, 1933, in rural Johnson County, Missouri, daughter of Wilbur D. and Etola K. (Cox) Zollinger. She was united in marriage to William C. Baker Jr. on Feb. 2, 1973, in Warrensburg. She was a multi-line insurance agent and co-owned and operated Bill Baker Insurance Agency for over 40 years. Marietta was an avid bowler. She and Bill traveled nationwide for bowling tournaments in years past. Her other hobbies included fishing, bingo and china painting. She was a very devoted mother, grandmother and great-grandmother.
Survivors include two daughters, Kathy Ray-Smith and Linda Rankin, both of Warrensburg; son, Robert Ray and wife, Barbara, of Ocracoke, North Carolina; seven grandchildren, Lindsay Rankin and Mike Snyder; Cassidy Storms and husband, Saber; Dylan Baker Ray and wife, Lindsay Theresa Ray; Kevin Hardy and wife, Laura; Mykal Smith and wife, Amanda; and Isaac Smith and wife, Brandi; and nine great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Bill; brother, Raymond Zollinger and son-in-law, Donald D. Smith.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions are suggested to Warrensburg Manor Activity Fund.
