(WARRENSBURG, Mo.) – The keynote speaker at a Memorial Day program at the Missouri Veterans Home is a Raymore-Peculiar senior oratorical contest winner.
American Legion Post 131, Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 2513 and Whiteman Air Force Base are teaming up to host the Memorial Day program at 3 p.m. May 29 at the Missouri Veterans Home, 1300 Veterans Road. The event is open to the public.
Audrey Warters will be the keynote speaker at this year’s ceremony, according to a news release. In January, she participated in the American Legion Department of Missouri’s Oratorical Competition.
