Tommie L. Blaylock

Tommie L. Blaylock, Jr., 66, of Holden, Missouri, died Saturday, Jan. 31,  at the Kansas City VA Medical Center in Kansas City, Missouri.
Per Tommie’s wishes, following cremation, private services will be scheduled at a later date.
Tommie was born Sept. 19, 1948 in Corona, California, the son of Thomas L. and Eva C. Casner) Blaylock. He enlisted in the United States Army and served during the Vietnam War. Tommie was awarded two Purple Hearts and two Bronze Stars.
Survivors include his daughter, Wendy Blaylock of Pleasant Hill, Missouri; son, Darrel Blaylock of Chilhowee, Missouri; six siblings: Donald Blaylock and wife, Kathy of Cody, Wyoming; Catherine Moore and husband, Bobby of Kingsville, Missouri; Karen Jurgensen of Belen, New Mexico; Judi Bensley of Los Lunas, New Mexico; Vickie Martin and husband, Ski of Los Lunas; and Michael Blaylock and wife, Julia of Lacy, Washington; three grandchildren: Kelsey, Callie and Hayden; and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents and two brothers: Daniel Mark & James Porter.
Arrangements entrusted to Williams Funeral Chapel in Holden.
