Audrey J. Rife

Audrey J. Rife, 72, of Knob Noster, died Sunday, Sept. 23 at St. Joseph Medical Center in Kansas City, Mo.
Funeral services will be at 2:30 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 27 at the Pleasant Grove Cumberland Presbyterian Church in Knob Noster with the Rev. Randy Crawshaw officiating. Pallbearers will be Cole Narron, Jared Coucher, Brandon Mueller, Jacob Rife, Joshua Rife, and Trenton Narron. Honorary pallbearers will be Jordan Rife and Brent Haas.
Interment will follow at Knob Noster Cemetery.
Friends may call after 1 p.m. Wednesday at Sweeney-Phillips & Holdren Funeral Home in Warrensburg.
She was born Jan. 13, 1940, in Knob Noster, the daughter of Curtis and Juanita (Everts) Judd.
On Sept. 21, 1958, she was united in marriage to Marvin H. Rife in Knob Noster. He preceded her in death on Jan. 1, 2012.
Audrey was a 1957 graduate of Knob Noster High School. She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and homemaker. Audrey’s love of cooking was enjoyed by her family and by the students of Knob Noster High School where she was a cook for several years. She was a member of the Pleasant Grove Cumberland Presbyterian Church in Knob Noster and a past member of the Enlisted Women’s Club of Whiteman Air Force Base.
Audrey is survived by one son, Brian Rife and wife Angie of Weston, MO; two daughters, Melissa Mueller and husband Steve; and Leah Haas, all of Knob Noster; two brothers, Buddy Judd and wife Glenna of Knob Noster; and Gary Judd and wife Earlene of Warrensburg; three sisters, Lou Anna Eckhoff and husband Dean of Knob Noster; Carolyn McAllister and husband Fred of Clinton, Mo.; and Cindy Bybee and husband Rod of Saginaw, Texas; 12 grandchildren: Cole, Jared, Jackie, Branden, Candi, Brent, Tiffany, Shelby, Jordan, Jacob, Joshua, and Emma; and three great-grandchildren, Trenton, Jack, and Bryce.
Memorial contributions are suggested to the Pleasant Grove Cumberland Presbyterian Church and may be left in care of the funeral home.
