A solo photography show and a group show are the featured upcoming exhibits at the University of Central Missouri Gallery of Art & Design from July 12 through Aug. 8.
The Summit Art Group of Lee’s Summit, Missouri, will present its annual exhibition in the Main Gallery. The exhibit will feature a variety of mediums, including photography, watercolor, pencil, oil, and wood.
A solo show featuring the black and white photography of Ramon Magee will be in the Outer Gallery.
An opening reception for both exhibitions is scheduled for 4-6 p.m. Saturday, July 12. The reception and the exhibits are free and open to the public.
Summer hours for the Gallery of Art & Design are 8 a.m.-4:30 p.m. Monday through Friday.
The UCM Gallery of Art & Design is located in the Art Center Building at 217 Clark St. in Warrensburg, just across the street from the James C. Kirkpatrick Library. Admission is free, and groups are welcome.
