(WARRENSBURG, Mo.)–The Tiger golf team hosted conference opponents Sedalia, O’Hara and Center at Hidden Pines Country Club (front par 36) on Wednesday for the final nine hole match of the season.
The Tigers won the team portion of the match shooting a combined score of 166. Sedalia was second with 195, third was O’Hara, 220 and Center was fourth with 226. Individually sophomore JD Pedersen was the medalist with a three over par 39 followed by teammates Conor Tenbus and Hagan Zinecker with 42 and Stuart Duncan shot 43. Bailey Woods had the throw out score of 45.
The JV team concluded a successful season by winning it’s final match of year by one stroke over Sedalia with a 194. Individual scores for the JV: Chandler Hawk 45, Brett Ballard 46, Tyler Beckner 49 and Noah Roush 54.
The varsity squad has two important 18-hole matches coming up. They play in Richmond on Friday and at Jefferson City Country Club on Monday before traveling for the Conference Tournament on Thursday.
