Tigers defeat St. Pius 10-4

(WARRENSBURG, Mo.) — The Warrensburg Tigers baseball team (2-7, 2-1) refused to relinquish the lead after grabbing it early against St. Pius on Wednesday, recording a 10-4 victory.
A two-run single by Kye Denker during the first inning and an RBI single by Jacob Terry and a groundout by Kevin Hardin in the second inning supplied the early offense for the Tigers.
The Tigers were led by Terry’s hitting. He went 3-4, drove in one and scored two runs.
The Tigers answered St. Pius’ top inning with three runs of their own in the sixth. Warrensburg scored on an error, an RBI single by Tanner Ridge, and an RBI single by Brad Cox.
The Junior Varsity won their fourth in a row in 3-1 victory.
