Wanda Faith Smith

Wanda Faith Smith, 57, of Kansas City, Mo., died Saturday, June 15 at Centerpoint Medical Center in Independence, Mo.
Cremation was under the direction of Ben Cast & Son – Wood Funeral Home in Holden, Mo. A memorial service was held at 3 p.m. Tuesday, June 18 at Elm Spring Baptist Church in Kingsville, Mo.
She was born Oct. 18, 1955, in Kansas City, the daughter of Bud and Joyce (Bower) Gunn. She graduated from Van Horn High School and on July 1, 1977, she married Dennis Smith. Mrs. Smith was a homemaker and a Baptist. She had lived in Millington, Tenn., and Holden before moving back to Kansas City 10 years ago.
Surviving her passing are her husband, Dennis Smith, of the home; two sons, Eddie Smith, of Pleasant Hill; and Scotty Smith, of Kansas City, Mo.; one daughter, Tabitha Smith, of Warsaw, Mo.; two brothers, Marvin Greer and Jay Long; six sisters, Theresa, Carol, Bobbie, Brenda, Linda and Myra; and 16 grandchildren.
