Ruth E. Tresenriter

Ruth E. Tresenriter, 86, of Warrensburg, died Tuesday, May 14 at the Country Club Care Center.
Cremation graveside services will be at 1:30 p.m. Saturday, May 18 at Warrensburg Memorial Gardens with the Rev. David Jordan officiating.
She was born Sept. 2, 1926, in Knob Noster, the daughter of George Will and Emma Rose (Steele) Fisher.
She was united in marriage to William “Bill” Tresenriter on Aug. 26, 1946 in Warrensburg. He preceded her in death on Oct. 26, 2011.
Ruth was a graduate of Knob Noster High School. She worked 25 years for Sears in Warrensburg as an assistant manager until her retirement. Ruth then worked for Ryder Transportation and drove a school bus serving the Warrensburg R-6 School District for five years. She attended the Knob Noster Christian Church.
Ruth is survived by her children, Jill Reed and husband, Paul, of Olathe, Kan.; and Robert Tresenriter and wife, Kathy, of Oak Grove, Mo.; one brother, Ted Fisher and wife, Julie, of Liberty, Mo.; one sister, Mary Lee Poese, of Warrensburg; three grandchildren, Kevin Tresenriter and wife, Julie, of Liberty; Billi Jo Titus and husband, Cole; and Jason Whitaker and wife, Sarah, all of Independence, Mo.; 10 great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren.
She was also preceded in death by her parents and one brother, James W. Fisher.
Memorial contributions are suggested to Crossroads Hospice and can be left in care of Sweeney-Phillips & Holdren Funeral Home in Warrensburg.
