Marion M. Kinney

Marion M. Kinney, 71, of Warrensburg, died Wednesday, Feb. 20 at home.
Funeral Services take place at 11 a.m. Saturday, Feb. 23 at Ben Cast & Son – Wood Funeral Home, Holden, Mo. Pastor Michael Wakeman will be officiating.
Interment will follow at Holden Cemetery.
He was born Oct. 3, 1941, in Pleasant Hill, Mo., the son of Thomas and Rena (Alley) Kinney. He graduated from Kingsville High School in 1960 and had lived in Holden and Centerview, Mo. before moving to Warrensburg 15 years ago.
Feb. 22, 1963 he married Ruth Hamilton in Holden. Marion worked as a cutter at Holden Manufacturing Company/Unitog in Holden for thirty years. He always enjoyed working on cars and later owned a salvage yard on U.S. 50 Highway near Centerview. He was just a good old boy who said what he thought, right or wrong.
Marion is survived by his wife, Ruth Kinney, of the home; one son Richard Kinney and girl friend, Carrie Dove, of Centerview, Mo.; two sisters, Mary Evans, of Clinton, Mo., and Theresa Morrison, of Harrisonville, Mo., and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, three brothers, and a sister.
