Sharon Joyce Brown, 65, of Holden, Mo., died Saturday, Feb. 9 at Sharp Memorial Hospital in San Diego, Calif.
The funeral will take place at 2 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 16 at Ben Cast & Son – Wood Funeral Home in Holden, Mo. with Brother Jeff Henson officiating.
Interment will follow at Holden Cemetery.
Friends may call the family from 1 to 2 p.m. at the funeral home on the day of the service.
Sharon was born July 22, 1947 in Holden, Mo., the daughter of George Howard and Frances (Potter) Liddle. She lived in Holden all of her life and graduated from Holden High School in 1965. On Nov. 8, 1967 she married Michael E. Brown.
She leaves her husband, Michael Brown of the home; two sons, Shane Brown, of Calexico, Calif., and Joseph Brown, of Lee’s Summit, Mo.; her mother, Frances Cline, of Kansas City, Mo.; two brothers, Terry Liddle, of Lee’s Summit, Mo., and Tommy Cine, of Kansas City, Mo.; and four grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her sister, Denise Ballard, and her father.
Memorial contributions are suggested for early detection cancer research.
