Diane Lucille Lynn, 43, of Holden, Mo., died Sunday, Jan. 20 in Warrensburg, Mo.
A funeral will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday, Jan. 23 at Ben Cast & Son – Wood Funeral Home in Holden. The clergyman will be Pastor Mike Werner. Friends may call from 1-2 p.m. Wednesday. Cremation will follow the services.
She was born April 8, 1969 in Iowa City, Iowa, the daughter of Richard Gene and Vickie (Peek) Chapman. She moved to Holden at age 13 and remained there. She was a 1987 graduate of Holden High School, and had been employed at Lowe’s in Warrensburg. Diane enjoyed vacationing, shopping, and especially being with her husband and children. Her favorite color was purple.
She leaves her husband of 20 years, Steve Lynn, of the home; two daughters, Tiffiney Lynn, of Pleasant Hill, Mo., and Ashley Lynn, of Holden; two sons, Jerry Gaulden, of Richmond, Mo., and Steven Lynn, of Olathe, Kan.; mother and step-father, Vickie and J.R. Farrow, of Warrensburg; father and step-mother, Richard and Loretta Chapman, of Greeley, Colo.; one brother, Dwayne Chapman and wife, Dana, of Warrensburg; two sisters, Amanda Chapman, of Colorado, and Christina Pieczynski and husband, Jessey, of Warrensburg; and one granddaughter, Kiley Gaulden.
