Betty Rose Brown, 89, Holden, Missouri, died Nov. 22, at Lakewood Care Center, Lee’s Summit, Missouri.
A Celebration of life service followed the visitation, 1 pm at New Life Fellowship officiated by Pastor Michael Wakeman. Interment followed the service at Holden Cemetery. Services entrusted to Ben Cast & Son-Wood Funeral Home.
Betty was born Aug. 2, 1928 to William Oscar Timms and Irene May (Barnes) Timms in Ft. Lupton, Colorado. On Sept. 16, 1946, Betty married Willard Eugene Brown and they had two children. Betty spent most of her life as a house wife and helping out on the family farm.
Betty worked at B & C Outlet in downtown Holden for a few years and enjoyed helping people with their fabric purchases. As the years past, Betty enjoyed entertaining her grand-children on the farm and looked forward to them all coming out.
Surviving her passing are two sons, Michael E. Brown, Holden, Missouri, and William K. Brown, Peoria,
Arizona; Three Grandchildren, eight Great Grandchildren and three Great-Great Grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband Willard Brown, three sisters and one brother.
Visitation was Wednesday Nov. 29, 12 pm at New Life Fellowship, 400 South Main, Holden, Missouri.
