Burton T. Shukers

Burton T. Shukers Jr., 78, of Warrensburg, died Tuesday, Nov. 6 at Western Missouri Medical Center.
A private family service will be held at a later date with scattering of his cremated remains in Waynesville, Mo.
He was born Dec. 29, 1933, in Waynesville, the son of Burton T. and Kathryn (Evans) Shukers Sr.
He was united in marriage on Sept. 6, 1980 to Judy Odgers in Warrensburg.
Burton was owner and operator of Shukers Electrical for more than 40 years. He loved working on and restoring cars. Burton was known as a loving husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather.
Burton is survived by his wife Judy of the home; two sons, Michael Shukers of Sedalia, and Jeff Dahman and wife, Tami, of Warsaw, Mo.; three daughters, Michele Shukers and husband, Pat Collins, of Austin, Texas, Becky Charles and husband, Steve, of Sweet Springs, Mo., and Julie See and husband, Ronnie, of Warrensburg; two sisters, Lucile Leigh of Bella-Vista, Ark., and Kaye Fairweather of Kimberling City, Mo.; eight grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents; two brothers, Charles and Donnie Shukers; and one sister, Mary Henley.
