Willard Eugene Brown

Willard Eugene Brown, 85, of Holden, Mo., died Monday, Nov. 5 at Holden Manor Care Center.
Graveside services and burial will be at 12:30 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 8 at Holden Cemetery under the direction of Ben Cast & Son – Wood Funeral Home in Holden. The officiant will be Chaplain Eric Kurz.
Mr. Brown was born Aug. 25, 1927 in LaTour, Mo., the son of Joseph W. and Ruth Murrell (Newton) Brown. He graduated from Holden High School and lived in the community all of his life. He married Betty Rose Timms on Sept. 16, 1946 in Greeley, Colo.
Mr. Brown was a farmer and stockman and a member of First Baptist Church in Holden.
He leaves his wife, Betty, of the home; two sons, Michael Eugene Brown, Holden, and William Kevin Brown, Peoria, Ariz.; three grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.
