Alice (Elaine) Ralston, 69, of Holden, Missouri, died Oct. 25, at Lee’s Summit Medical Center in Lee’s Summit, Missouri.
Visitation will be held 6-8 p.m. Friday, Oct. 30, at Ben Cast & Son-Wood Funeral Home.
Graveside services will be 10 a.m. Oct. 31, at the Holden Cemetery.
Elaine was born July 20, 1946, to Floyd Hancock and Peggy (Beasley) Hancock in Kansas City, Missouri. After finishing high school, Elaine completed cosmetology school and spent a few years as a hairdresser. Most of her life was spent living in the Holden Area.
Elaine was preceded in death by her parents, Floyd and Peggy Hancock, and her daughter, Cindy Bearce. Surviving her passing are two sons, Glen Ralston and wife, Joanna, of Holden; Joshua Ralston, of Pennsylvania; two brothers, Bob Hancock and wife, Jeanie, of Lake of The Ozarks, Missouri; Harold Hancock and wife, Delores, of Independence, Missouri; one sister, Pat Calhoun, and husband, Donnie, of Holden; seven grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
The family requests balloons instead of flowers.
