Robert Eugene Carter

Robert Eugene Carter, 67, of Holden, Missouri, died Saturday, Sept. 5, at Research Medical Center in Kansas City, Missouri.
Robert was born July 21, 1948, to William Carter and Aredith (Colley) Carter in Osborne, Missouri.
Robert served in the United States Army in Vietnam. After leaving the Army, he returned home and went to work a few years later for the Missouri Department of Transportation where he retired.
He is survived by one daughter, Patricia Jones, of Holden; two brothers, Jerry Carter, of Lathrop, Missouri; Richard Carter, of Hamilton, Missouri; five sisters, Donna Highley, of Kerrville, Texas; Paulette Dailey, of Liberty Missouri; Linda Gibson, of Kansas City, Missouri; Terry White Henley, of Lathrop; and Lois Williams, of Deepwater, Missouri; three grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
A memorial service will be scheduled at a later date by the family. Cremation was entrusted to Ben Cast & Son-Wood Funeral Home in Holden.
