Raquel Anne Kreisel

Raquel Anne Kreisel, 42, of Lee’’s Summit, Missouri, died Saturday, May 9, at her mother and stepfather’’s home near Kingsville.
Raquel was born Dec. 29, 1972, in Kansas City, the daughter of James Herbert Kreisel and Sheila Rochelle (Krzyzek) Kreisel. She graduated from Lee’’s Summit High School and attended Longview Community College. Raquel enjoyed fishing, making crafts and especially spending time with her daughter, Sereniti.
Survivors include her daughter, Sereniti Leeanne Kreisel-Reid, of the home; father, James Kreisel, of Warsaw, Missouri; mother and stepfather, Sheila and Richard McClendon, of Kingsville; four sisters, Lori Dunbar and husband, Vincent, of Dickson, Tennessee; Wendy Reed and husband, Tim, of Independence, Missouri; Holly Cardwell, of Kansas City, Missouri; and Dominique Cobb and husband, Josh, of Blue Springs, Missouri; two brothers, Richard J. McClendon, of Littleton, Colorado; and Jeff McClendon and wife, Christy, of Kansas City, Missouri; her longtime companion, Mel Gardner, of Kansas City, Missouri; godson, Tamarack Riddle, of Independence; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her paternal and maternal grandparents.
Memorial services will be held 4 p.m. Saturday, May 16, at Langsford Funeral Home in Lee’’s Summit.
The family will receive friends from 2-4 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home.
