John David Johnson, 68, of Arnold, Missouri, died Thursday, April 16, at South County Nursing Home in Arnold.
No services are scheduled at this time. Following cremation the family will hold a private memorial service.
He was born Feb. 9, 1947, in Harrisonville, Missouri, the son of Paul Francis Johnson and Mary Belle (Lucas) Johnson. John graduated from Holden High School in Holden, Missouri, in 1965. John worked for Combined Insurance and Western Electric.
Surviving his passing are one son, Anthony Johnson of Butler, Missouri; one daughter, Tina Egelston, of Thousand Oaks, California; five brothers: Richard Johnson, of Wentzville, Missouri; Larry Johnson and wife, Paulette, of Garden City, Missouri; Jerry Johnson and wife, Sherry, of Kingsville, Missouri; Mike Johnson, of Independence, Missouri; Kenny Johnson, Kansas City, Missouri; two sisters, Shirley Richards and husband, Darrel, of Austin, Texas; Brenda Moore and husband, Timothy, of Lee’s Summit, Missouri; and two grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by sisters Doris Nole, Francis Ketchum and Patricia Johnson.
