Marilyn Lee Underwood Lemmon, 68 of Warrensburg, Missouri, died Friday, Nov. 21, at her home surrounded by her children and her sisters.

Funeral Services will be 3 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 23, at Williams Funeral Chapel in Warrensburg with the Rev. Dr. Randall Neal of Grover Park Baptist Church officiating. Interment will follow in Warrensburg Memorial Gardens.
Pallbearers will be Jason Underwood, Shane Underwood, Charles Brant, Gene Anderson, Barry Anderson and Bryan Anderson.
Marilyn was born July 28, 1946, in Warrensburg, the daughter of George Sherman Dillingham and Ruby Intha (Thompson) Dillingham. She graduated from College High School in Warrensburg. She was a lifelong Warrensburg resident. Marilyn was united in marriage to Paul E. Underwood in August 1964 in Warrensburg. She married Danny Lemmon on April 5, 1997, in Warrensburg. She was a member of Grover Park Baptist Church. Marilyn enjoyed traveling with her husband, Danny, throughout the years. She especially cherished spending time with her grandchildren.
Survivors include her husband, Danny; daughter, Jill Rodriguez and husband, Mark, of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma; son, Jeff Underwood of Knob Noster, Missouri; stepdaughter, Aimee Lemmon-Lyming and husband, Dan, of Reed Springs, Missouri; stepson, Andy Lemmon and wife, Karen, of Bolivar, Missouri; three sisters, Shelby Brant and husband, Charles, of Knob Noster; Linda Anderson and husband, Gene, of Burlington, N.C.; and Kay Truelove of Warrensburg; nine grandchildren and two step-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by both parents; a brother, Dean Dillingham, and another brother in infancy.
Memorial contributions are suggested to Johnson County Cancer Foundation in care of the funeral chapel.
