Mary Sue Goff, 72, of Holden, Missouri, died Thursday, Sept. 4, at her home.
Funeral Services will be 3 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 7 at Williams Funeral Chapel in Holden with Pastor Justin Locke officiating.
There will be a private interment in the Pittsville Cemetery at a later date.
The family will receive friends from 2:00 to 3:00 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.
She was born April 26, 1942 in Panama, Oklahoma, the daughter of Woodson Arthur Shed and Belle Vivian (Hastings) Shed. She married Ronald Wayne Davis in 1959. She married Edward Messer, Jr. in 1963. On August 21, 1976, she married Floyd L. Goff in Claycomo, Missouri. Mary was a member of the First Baptist Church in Holden. She was an animal lover.
Survivors include five children: Ron Davis and wife, Karen of Holden, Missouri; Brenda Coughlin and husband, Matthew of Pensacola, Florida; John Davis of Kansas City, Missouri; Tracy Messer and wife, Vicky of Kansas City, Missouri and Steven Messer and wife, Anna of Kansas City, Missouri; stepson: Ernest Goff of Miles City, Montana; sister: Anna Mae Heldt and husband, Roger of Ackley, Iowa; fourteen grandchildren and four great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by both parents; her husband, Floyd; and brother, Charles Ernest Shed.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions are suggested to Johnson County Hospice in care of the funeral home.
