Charles Leslie Gribbell

Charles Leslie Gribbell, 81, of Holden, Missouri, died at his home on Tuesday, July 29.
He was born Oct. 2, 1932, in Sharon Center, Iowa, the son of Frederick and Ruth Susan (Jacob) Gribbell. Charles was a machinist in a machine shop for many years. He was a Christian and a follower of the Baptist faith.
Charles married his wife of 61 years, Delores Laverne Trowbridge, on March 28, 1952, in Bristol, Michigan. She preceded him in death on April 18, 2013.
Survivors include one son, Mark Gribbell, of Trufont, Michigan; one daughter, Darlene Buckstead, of Holden; and three sisters, Verona Logan of Tustin, Michigan; Leah Vanantwerp of Tustin; and Alice Ward of Tustin.
Graveside services will be at 1 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 2, at Burdell Township Cemetery in Tustin under the direction of Ben Cast & Son – Wood Funeral Home in Holden.
Memorial Contributions are suggested to the Bibles International of Grand Rapids, Michigan, or Serinity Hospice of Harrisonville, Missouri.
Friends may visit the family in Missouri from 2-4 p.m. Aug. 9 at the Chilhowee Baptist Church in Chilhowee, Missouri.
