Janet Louise Barnes

Janet Louise Barnes, 70, of Warrensburg, Missouri, died Tuesday, May 27, at Western Missouri Medical Center.
Memorial services will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, June 7, at Sweeney-Phillips and Holdren Funeral Home in Warrensburg with Pastor James Morgan officiating. Visitation services are at 1 p.m. until service time.
She was born Sept. 19, 1943, in Dodge City, Kansas, the daughter of Henry Victor and Ruby Lenore (Warner) Klassen.
She was united in marriage to Billy H. Barnes on Dec. 5, 1981.
Janet worked as director of membership certification for the World Safety Organization for several years until her retirement. She enjoyed spending quality time with her family and friends.
Janet is survived by her husband, Billy; one daughter, Nicole Aymond and husband, Justin Todd, of Warrensburg; one son, David Raffman, and wife, Barbara, of Frisco, Texas; six sisters, Barbara Oliver and husband, Larry, of Washington; Vivienne Hultgren and husband, Willie; Vicki Lehrman and husband, Dean; and Georgia Klassen, all of Wichita, Kansas; and Deborah Burgess and husband, Dan, of Kentucky; and Melinda Murphy of Topeka, Kansas; two brothers, Charles Little and wife, Dee; and Robert Little, all of Derby, Kansas; and three grandchildren, Caleb Todd, Samantha Tams and husband, Garth, and Miranda Raffman.
She was preceded in death by her parents and first husband, Edral Joseph Aymond, in 1983.
