Kenneth Lee Forste

Kenneth Lee Forste, 57, of Centerview, Mo., died Friday, Dec. 27 at Western Missouri Medical Center in Warrensburg.
Kenneth was born July 31, 1956, in Kansas City, Mo., the son of Lester Frances “Jum” Forste and Carol Jean (Sharpe) Forste. In 1968, he moved with his family to a farm near Leeton, Mo. He graduated from Leeton High School. Kenneth resided in Warrensburg for a brief time prior to moving near Centerview where he raised his family. He had been employed with Stahl’s Specialty Company for 26 years. He loved being outdoors, especially fishing and canoeing. His favorite pastime was playing cards.
Survivors include his daughter, Amy Thorns and husband, Caleb, of Higginsville, Mo.; son, Bryan Forste and girlfriend, Caetie Kirkham, of Higginsville; sister, Charlotte J. Lawrence and husband, Edward, of Warrensburg, Mo.; brother, Gary G. Forste of Leeton; stepgrandson, Maddox Thorns, and a grandchild on the way; four nephews, Paul Lawrence and wife, Wendy, of Warrensburg; John Lawrence and wife, Michelle, of Marshall, Mo.; David Lawrence of Mobile, Ala.; Scott Forste of diego Garcia; and a great niece, Ashley Lawrence of Warrensburg. Kenneth was preceded in death by both parents.
