Linn Olen Collins

Linn Olen Collins, 60, of Knob Noster, Mo., died Monday, Oct. 28, at University of Missouri Hospital in Columbia, Mo.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Friday, November 1, at Sweeney-Phillips & Holdren Funeral Home in Knob Noster with Dawn Collins officiating.
Interment will follow at Knob Noster Cemetery.
The family will receive friends from 6:30-8 p.m. Thursday, October 31, at the funeral home.
Memorial contributions are suggested to the Linn Olen Collins Memorial Fund with checks made payable to Helen Collins and can be left in care of Sweeney-Phillips & Holdren Funeral Home in Warrensburg.
He was born December 12, 1952, in Holden, Mo., the son of Linn Roy and Hattie Ellen (Younce) Collins.
On April 11, 1998, he married Helen Muncy in Warsaw, Mo.
Linn attended Knob Noster High School.  He later worked as a mechanic and farmer.  Linn hobbies included collecting guns, knives, raising pigeons, fishing, hunting and he loved shooting guns with his best friend Richie and grandson Bryse.  He also loved building bird houses with Kimberly girl and enjoyed woodworking, making walking sticks.
Linn is survived by his wife Helen of the home; two sons, Robert Collins and wife Dawn and Casey John Collins and wife Rhonda, all of Knob Noster, Mo.; two brothers, John William Collins of Del Rio, Texas, and Jim Louis Collins of Knob Noster, Mo.; and two grandchildren, Kimberly Lynn Collins and Bryse Hunter Collins.
He was preceded in death by his parents, one brother, Joseph Ferrel Collins, and three sisters, Emma Wilson, Dorothy Rose, and Mary Ann Davidson.
