Warrensburg Schools Foundation begins new campaign

The Board of Directors for the Warrensburg Schools Foundation (WSF) is introducing the Partners in Progress campaign.
The new campaign will directly impact facilities, projects or programs of the Warrensburg R-VI School District. Potential Partners in Progress projects are identified by the district administrators and chosen by the board members of the Foundation.
The first project of the campaign is safety and equipment improvements to the Ridge View Elementary playground, the final district playground to receive updates. The cooperation and coordination between the District and Foundation ensures the funds raised will provide the most benefit to the District. The fundraising goal for the current project is $75,000.
“We are excited to be in a position to give back to the District in this way,” WSF Executive Director Meridith Sauer said. “I am looking forward to future Partners in Progress projects, as this campaign has the potential to make a significant impact on the R-VI District.”
The funds raised through the upcoming Alumni & Friends Golf Tournament on April 20 will benefit the Partners in Progress campaign.
The Partners in Progress campaign is the third major project of WSF.. WSF also provides approximately $10,000 annually in Classroom Impact Grants to teachers and hosts the Annual Academic Excellence Awards Banquet for top Warrensburg High School students, in addition to managing and awarding annual scholarships to graduating seniors.
For more information about the Partners in Progress campaign or any other Foundation activity visit www.WarrensburgFoundation.org or call Meridith Sauer at 660-747-7823.
