UCM’s Alpha Sigma Alpha chapter is hosting its third annual Freezin’ for a Reason Male Flag Football Tournament, benefiting the Special Olympics, on Feb. 23 from 10 a.m.-4 p.m. at Ellis Fields.
It is $100 per team and $75 for each additional team from the same organization. Money must be sumbitted to Alpha Sigma Alpha by Feb. 18. Payments can be dropped off or mailed to B100 Panhellenic Hall, Warrensburg, Mo. 64093.
Playing is not required. Alpha Sigma Alpha invites anyone to come and watch.
Special Olympics is one of Alpha Sigma Alpha’s three national philanthropies along with the S. June Smith Center and Girls on the Run. This is the second fundraiser of 2013 that Alpha Sigma Alpha has had for Special Olympics.
