Daniel “Dan” Morgan, 77, of Warrensburg, Missouri, died Thursday, Feb. 15.Memorial contributions may be made to City Union Mission, KC Symphony and Survival House in Warrensburg.
Dan was born Aug. 19, 1940 in Uniontown, Pennsylvania. He was the son of Robert and Mary Morgan and the youngest of six siblings. Dan loved his family and was especially close to his sisters Mary and Rosie.
He was united in marriage to the love of his life, Susan Owens on Aug. 7, 1965. Dan was quickly outnumbered as the only male in his family when he and Susan produced four loving daughters. Dan embraced fatherhood and relished his life on a farm he purchased for Susan and his girls.
He found happiness and joy in his life with Susan, going to Chiefs games, the KC Symphony, daily walks with his dogs, riding horses and listening to classical music. Dan was spiritual and enjoyed fellowship with family and friends. His philosophy on life was simple: have faith. Dan’s faith was strong. He was a loving husband, father, grandad, kind with a sweet smile and a great sense of humor. Dan’s greatest gift to his family was a lifetime of cherished memories. He will be greatly missed.
Arrangements entrusted to Williams Funeral Chapel in Warrensburg.
