Paulette Wanda Peppard, 68, of Warrensburg, Missouri, died on Oct. 17.
Funeral Services will be held on Friday, Oct. 20, at 2 p.m. at Sweeney-Phillips and Holdren Funeral Home in Warrensburg. The family will receive friends on Friday, Oct. 20, from 1-2 p.m. at the funeral home. Pallbearers will be Wyatt Peppard Codi Peppard, James Watson, Chuck Basham, Anthony Young, and Thomas Bollin. Interment will take place at Sunset Hill Cemetery in Warrensburg, following services.
Paulette was born on May 21, 1949, in Kansas City, Kansas, to Paul Basham and Wilma (Gerber) Basham. She was united in marriage to Herbie Young, and to this union was born a son. Herbie preceded her in death in 1968. She remarried Roland Louis Peppard and to this union were born four children. He preceded her in death in 1994.
Paulette was a housekeeper for Warrensburg Manor for many years. She also enjoyed traveling across the country, camping and spending time with her family.
Paulette is survived by her children: son, Donald Young (wife, Tammy), Peggy Bollin (husband, Thomas), Todd Peppard, and Amanda Peppard; 17 grandchildren; 5 great-grandchildren; sisters, Delores Mesias-Foster and Brenda Basham; brother, Chuck Basham; and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. In addition to her husbands, Paulette was also preceded in death by her daughter, Janette Peppard; grandchildren, Carissa Young and Christopher Thompson; parents, Paul Basham and Wilma Williams; sister, Carol Newman; and brother, Paul Basham, Jr.
Memorial contributions are suggested to the American Diabetes Association and can be left in care of the funeral home.
