David Britton Miller, 39, of Sedalia, Missouri and former University of Central Missouri student died unexpectedly Friday, Sept. 27, in Warrensburg, Missouri. Funeral services were Monday, Oct. 2, at the Elliott Funeral Home in Atlanta, Missouri. Burial followed at the Mt. Tabor Cemetery east of Atlanta.
David was born July 11, 1978, in Kirksville, Missouri, to Eugene and Carol Miller. He was a graduate of the Atlanta C-3 Class of 1996. David was married to Kimberley McBride. They had two children, Drake and Eleanor. He was an entrepreneur, starting his own metalworking company, and continuing his education at UCM. He was a good person that knew how to turn a bad situation into a smile and always knew what to say.
David was preceded in death by his siblings, Scott Miller and Joanne Miller. He is survived by his parents; wife and children of the home; Nephews Justin (Nickie) Miller of Atlanta; Cody (Beth) Miller of Macon, Georgia; Travis Miller of Macon; Nieces Jessica Gentry-Allen and Katie Allen of Vermontville, Minnesota; brother-in-law Jeffery McBride and family of Nixa, Missouri; in-laws, Wanda and Joseph McBride of Sedalia; and sister-in-law Brenda Miller of Atlanta. Other relatives and many friends including special friends Charles and April Watson.
