Linda Lee Dudley Grow, age 74, of Warrensburg, died Saturday, Dec. 3.
She will be cremated, and the family will have a private celebration of life in the coming weeks.
She was born to Andrew and Dorothy (Davie) Dudley on Dec. 2, 1942. She will be greatly missed by her husband, best friend, and partner of 52 years, Leslie Grow. She will also be missed by her daughter, Lynnette Grow, of Omaha, Nebraska; four grandchildren, Kalyn, Jenna, Leslie, and Grant Dixon, of Omaha; and two sisters, Sandy Duvall, of Shawnee, Kansas, and Doreene Thrash, of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma; and many other relatives.
Linda loved watching her granddaughters with their horses and hearing about their day. She loved hearing about her grandson’s sporting events. She enjoyed traveling and took many special trips. She was a gifted kindergarten teacher with the Warrensburg school district for 20 years and will be missed by all the lives she touched during her career. She was respected by her fellow teachers, administrators, and parents. One of her greatest joys was her love of pets including a horse, dogs (show dogs), cats, and all the pets that a kindergarten teacher has. She enjoyed playing bridge with her friends.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions are suggested to the Lottie Moon Christmas offering and can be left in care of Sweeney-Phillips & Holdren Funeral Home or sent to First Baptist Church at 1302 S. Maguire St, Warrensburg, MO 64093.
