Ted R. Feldman, 78, of Holden, Missouri, died Wednesday, Sept. 23, at his home.

Mass services will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday, Sept. 26, at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Warrensburg, Missouri, with Father Peter Salvidge officiating. Pallbearers will be Nathan Feldman, Derek Feldman, Christopher Huey, Zachary Yancey, Port Peerson and Parker Peerson.
Burial will follow at Sunset Hill Cemetery.
The family will receive friends from 5 to 7 p.m. Friday, Sept. 25, at Sweeney-Phillips & Holdren Funeral Home in Warrensburg.
He was born on March 8, 1937, in Centerview, Missouri, the son of Theodore Louis and Mary Mildred (Lockard) Feldman.
Ted attended College High School in Warrensburg, and married Jayne Peerson in 1955. He worked at Bendix for 15 years while farming and then continued to farm for many years. Ted was a member of Sacred Heart Parish in Warrensburg. He was a life member of the Elks Lodge and was on the Johnson County Fire Protection District No. 2 board for many years. Ted enjoyed hunting, fishing, water and snow skiing. He loved traveling and gardening but most of all his passion was taking care of his family.
Ted is survived by his wife, Jayne, of the home; children T. Rex (Susan), Kansas City, Missouri; Sheria Yancey (Jesse), St. Clair, Missouri; Ardith Huey (Jeff), Rockledge, Florida; David (Jill), Centerview; sister, Mary Ann (Jerry), Columbia, Missouri; brothers, Harry Lee (Judy), Warrensburg; and Henry, (Sue), Centerview; nine grandchildren, Jenny Woody, Wayne Yancey, Chris Huey, Derek Feldman, Zachary Yancey, Shannon Huey, Margaret Feldman, Nathan Feldman and Judd Feldman; 11 great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his mother and father; son, Hayes Feldman; brothers, Louis and Richard; granddaughter, Elisa; and great-grandson Christian.
 
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions are suggested to Sacred Catholic Church in Warrensburg and can be left in care of the funeral home.
