(BRANSON, Mo., AP) — Silver Dollar City in Branson officially dedicated an $8 million expansion project that will include 10 new attractions.

The ceremony on Wednesday celebrated the new Fireman’s Landing, which is expected to debut March 14. The new attractions will offer six new rides and four interactive play zones.
The Springfield News-Leader reports (http://bit.ly/1Jle8aT) the attractions will include an eight-story fire tower free-fall drop ride, a smaller tower drop and the Firehouse Splash Yard, with squirting water jets and pump hoses.
With the new attractions, the park will offer more than 40 rides.
