(WARRENSBURG, Mo.) — The UCM Jennies softball team has scheduled its annual summer softball camps for June.
The camps will focus on individual defensive and offensive skills, including but not limited to, throwing, fielding, hitting, bunting and base running.
The Jennies will host their Junior Jennies Camp for children in grades 3-5 on June 16 and 17 at Jennies Field at the South Recreation Complex. Camp will last from 1 to 4 p.m. both days. The cost to attend is $50 per camper and includes a T-shirt.
The Jennies Skills Camp for players in grades 6-8 will be June 23-24 from 1 to 4 p.m. at Jennies Field. That camp also costs $50 and includes a T-shirt.
Campers need to bring: glove, cleats, bat, helmet, water bottle and comfortable clothing appropriate for practicing and sliding.
