(WARRENSBURG, Mo., digitalBURG) — Four people have filed for two available seats on the Warrensburg City Council and four have filed for three available Warrensburg R-6 Board of Education seats for the April 8 general municipal election.
Those who filed for the City Council seats are Cason Renfrow, Mike Watts, Robin Allen and Don Butterfield, who is currently in office. Candidates for the school board are Adam Horn, Ed Wirthwein, Gary Grisby and Lisa Dyer, a current board member.
The deadline to file for candidacy was Tuesday. The county clerk must verify each candidate’s eligibility by Tuesday, Jan. 28, before they will officially be on the ballot.
