Habitat for Humanity 5K postponed

(WARRENSBURG, Mo.) – Due to unforeseen circumstances, Habitat for Humanity of Johnson County has postponed its 5K Home Run and Hog Roast fundraiser that was scheduled to take place at the Johnson County Courthouse on Saturday, Sept. 14.
The run, which was scheduled to start from the courthouse at 5 p.m. and be followed by a hog roast, will be rescheduled for a date in the spring of 2014 that has yet to be determined.
All proceeds from this and other Habitat fundraisers support home builds in the Johnson County community.
Habitat for Humanity of Johnson County, an affiliate of Habitat for Humanity International, builds simple, quality, affordable housing in partnership with people in need in Johnson County. The organization has built seven homes in Johnson County with one build in progress.
